ESSENTIAL OILS FOR REFLEXOLOGY

People Everywhere Are Rubbing Essential Oils Onto Their Feet

Here's the Top 5 Oils For Reflexology!

Immunity Roll-On being applied to sole of a foot.

One of the most effective ways to use essential oils is by applying them to the feet. The soles of our feet have larger pores, allowing a better flow to the bloodstream.

A huge plus comes from the benefits of reflexology. Reflexology is an ancient practice where practitioners apply pressure to certain areas of the feet. These specific points are all connected to body organs via nerve lines (each foot contains 7,200 nerve endings).

Considering reflexology's vast history of benefits, using essential oils on the feet can be a powerful way to reap the benefits on certain parts of the body.

Soles of the feet are naturally less sensitive (to defend against cuts while walking). However they are just 1 of 2 body parts that do not contain sebaceous glands. Sebum can be a barrier to entry, and applying to the feet helps essential oils to avoid this barrier.

Top 5 Essential Oils For Reflexology

  1. Castor Oil: Castor oil has a heating quality and a heavy, luxurious feel. Castor contains powerful healing properties - both antimicrobial and antifungal - and is also known as the "Palm of Christ." Research shows that it helps increase circulation and break down congestion beneath the skin - making it the perfect oil for working on lumps, fibrous tissue, constipation, or any reflexes that are feeling tense.

  2. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil has a soothing, cooling quality. It’s light, smooth, and is effective in dealing with inflammation on the skin. It's renowned worldwide for its benefits to skin and hair health, and is also antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal.

  3. Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil mimics sebum, the body’s natural moisturizing oil. Jojoba oil is non-allergenic, meaning it can be used on all types of skin—even sensitive skin.  Jojoba oil is loaded with Vitamin E and B and beneficial minerals (like chromium, copper, and zinc) that nourish skin. Jojoba oil is also a natural antioxidant.

  4. Almond Oil: Commonly used in therapeutic massage, almond oil is a great source of essential fatty acids and vitamin E, polyphenols, and flavonoids and cause some type of improvement in varicose veins, hemorrhoids, and limb edema by improving blood circulation. This makes it ideal in activating nerve endings with reflexology.

  5. Avocado Oil: Avocado oil is cooling. It’s heavy, smooth, and has skin softening and anti-wrinkle properties. It's good for sensitive skin and skin inflammations like eczema, acne and rashes commonly found on the feet. It also contains vitamins A, D and E. It also has a long shelf life, so a little can go a long way!

Mix these top 5 oils with other pure essential oils to get the potent healing properties of both!

Essential Oils for Reflexology

Many first-timers are drawn into essential oils due to their pleasant aromas, and dive deeper once they learn about the benefits. Oils on their own can be a powerful all-natural solution, and using them for reflexology can enhance the effect!

Immunity is a blend that can help strengthen the body systems, Inner Peace contains plants that support a normal mood, Energy can boost one's alertness/stamina, and oils such as Lavender, Frankincense, and Stress Away can help relieve stress and anxiety.

The 100% pure oils from Vitality Extracts are great for reflexology, and diluting with a carrier oil like Fractionated Coconut Oil (or the others mentioned above) can help prevent any irritation for sensitive skin types. It is good to test different carrier oils out and find what works best for you. Here is a link to their wide range of carrier oils.

In most reflexology systems, the big toe represents the brain and head. The next two toes represent the eyes, and the next two toes represent the ears. The top third of the sole is our chest, the mid third is our stomach and digestive system… it can get very intricate, but is SO cool.

No wonder we apply oils to our feet - our feet represent our entire body!

Absolutely amazing!

Immunity has a light cinnamon smell that my family loves. When one of us starts to feel like we are coming down with something, I immediately start diffusing it, and rubbing it on our feet. It always amazes me how quickly we start to feel better. Immunity helps your body fight off whatever it’s battling, and acts as a safeguard for your family. We love it! The shipment arrived very quickly, and the packaging was in perfect shape. Vitality has great quality oils! We were surprised at the size of the bottle, and how deep the color of the oil was. We will definitely be ordering again!

Thank you so much

I haven’t been disappointed. Some of the oils were for other people who have problems with stress and sleeping problems. I myself love the Energy and Sweet Dreams oils! The Sweet Dreams seems to help me relax instantly and I apply it to my feet. The Migraine oil was for my son in law but I don’t know if he’s had a chance to use it. My daughter loves the arrow bracelet. Lastly, when I purchased 3 of the Sweet Dreams oil and one was broke, you promptly replaced it at no charge. Your caring for people speaks volumes for your company and that is a great quality in my eyes! Thank you so much for your products. I do recommend them
